Opinions on Image Annotation Software? 9 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi Folks,
My lab is considering getting PhotoShop for annotating and sharing images...Does anybody else use that? What do people think of PhotoShop CS5? Is there other software that's better?

A friend from Maine uses an old version of Photoshop, and raves about it. She uses it to sharpen images, and to turn on & off layers for individual annotation of images (sorta like Jon's interactive ageing site). I know Photoshop can do lots more than that, and that may mean it's not the best approach financially. Then again, is it the standard in this field?

I'd love to hear other people's opinions!

Hey Sandy, we use Photoshop Elements. It does everything we need and more for annotating and it is less than $100.
