I don't *believe* so. But here's a test for you!
Just received my 'confirm subscription' msg. It was in my spam folder, probably due to being an outside org.
It asks to 'confirm' by clicking link. I did not see the link in this msg.
Hrm. I'm not sure how to deal with that... I have blanket notifications turned on for EVERYTHING here and set it up from my profile page here on the forum. I'll poke this with a stick when I'm at my computer next.
I just moved the 'confirm subscription' msg from spam to inbox. The confirm subscription link is now active.

Nikki- it turns out that folks have to move the confirmation email from their spam folder to their inbox before they see the confirmation link.
